Stainless Steel Seasoning Injector
It’s no secret that lean meats such as pork tenderloin or chicken breast can be dry and tough if not cooked just right. If you want to stack the odds in favour of moist, perfectly seasoned meat, we recommend the use of a seasoning injector.
The product we are reviewing is sold in the US and is available on Amazon, but the comments apply when selecting any quality seasoning injector. Just be sure to look out for some of these key features.
Get yourself a heavy duty model made from stainless steel, some of the plastic models are just not sturdy enough for repeated use. This stainless steel model is also dishwasher safe making clean up easy.
The other feature we like are the two 6” stainless steel needles. One for liquid marinades and one with holes in it for injecting marinades that may include minced garlic, onion, herbs etc
We used the liquid marinade needle on our BBQ pork tenderloin injecting around 100ml of apple juice laced with spices into the meat. The result was a perfectly cooked piece of pork that was moist and flavourful all the way through.
